As promised: Windfoil Convertible by Alex Morales of Tillo International. Ding on the tail courtesy of Forward Air. It (the board, not the ding) was the result of my wanting a more foil friendly board but knowing that it would be taking a regular fin in places like Hatteras. The finbox is a couple of inches forward of where it is on my FreeFormula and mast track further back. Lots of volume under the straps and not much of anything forward of the mast. Lots of inboard strap options in the rear for foiling. Alex says it goes exceedingly well with a 52cm fin and 7-9 sail. 213x90 130 liters. Glass and carbon fiber. Light but not stupid light.
Is that wise? It is Wednesday the 13th you know.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Right. Forgot all about that. Need to grab the hockey mask, machete, lunch box and get to work.
Santa come early?
Alan
Not just Santa, the Easter Bunny, the New Year's baby and the tooth fairy.

Yes, pics soon. First new board for me* in about 23 years. Everything since has been used, demo, very used, etc.
*Got a couple of boards for Sim when he was young that were worth every penny.
btw, I think I'm going to hold off until tomorrow and Friday so I don't have to wear gloves.
What did you get?
Fanatics new Gecko foil looks interesting.
Alan
Seriously Webguy - what did you get? If its a new board, we need pics!
I'm just like a dramatic teenager on Facebook. Status: Worst day of my life but I don't want to talk about it.
Pics coming.
OK webguy, We would expect this kind of torment from that arrogantj guy but not you.

Nice looking board. Convertable seems like the way to go.
Is the graphic on the front a cross and crown of thorns?
Alan
No clue what the graphic is. It's a bit turned on the side so I'm not thinking it's a cross.
Edit: Added photo of one of original renderings from last July

Maybe it’s a t for tillo inside the eye of a hurricane.
Alan
Sounds like a detective task for our Top Men. Of course, I could just ask Alex but what's the fun in that?
