I think speed boards are usually in width like their wider race brethren. This one is indeed 45cm wide and all of 53 l. Still a water ski. Probably similar thickness to a high wind board (65-70l Gorge or wave board) but just less width. And, any chop at those speeds looks terrifying to me, too.
