ACWA Fall Fling SWAP MEET  at Lake Thurmond (near Augusta) -- Sept. 28th.  8)
The Augusta-Columbia Windsurfing Association (aka. ACWA...sounds like 'aqua', you know, as in Aquaman), was thinking ???, which is always dangerous, "When's the last time this area has had a really good, old fashioned windsurfing SWAP MEET?" So, with assistance from the sponsoring shop, Whitecap Windsurfing, we're having one -- and more!  We're inviting you to join us. We're going to start gathering about 11:00am and go until we want to go home. We're serving a cook out lunch, too. (No, it's not free, but almost.)
 It's a short, easy drive. Weather permitting, we're also going to have:
      >> organized, fun, open racing with prizes        >> fun freestyle competition with more prizes  
      >> a worthwhile swap meet -- that is, if you come and bring stuff.
      >> some demo gear to try out -- Prodigy's, Discoveries, and HOT sailsies.    
..and while I'm rhyming, I'll need RSVP's. E-mail me and let me know when you know if you can make it.
This could be great fun.  We had 35 at the event in May in atrocious weather and everyone had a GREAT time. So, get stoked. It's fall cold front time. Maybe we'll get some wind..
