With no wind in sight in Atlanta, my wife and I escaped to the Jersey Shore. The purpose of the trip was to visit a couple of windsurfing friends on vacation with their families. While Atlanta is in the summer doldrums, sea breezes pick up along the barrier islands of the Atlantic coast. As summer progresses, the wind band tends to move north.
