Four days of easterlies. I'm going to give today a pass but planning on a bunch of time at Vanns Fri-Sun.
Reminder that there's a tendency for the wind to be brisk in the morning around 9:30-11 and back off at lunch with the sunshine. Even so, the afternoons look good.

Hope to be at Vanns after lunch on Friday
I am planning on a 10:30am arrival. Hopefully I will still be going when Langdon gets there. I am still a bit sore and tired from yesterday. That was fun!

VP 11ish for me.
I'll probably join Alan at Van Pugh around lunch time or earlier (or later)..

I plan to sail at Van Pugh tomorrow, Fri. Mid morning.
Update- I’m heading to VP after breakfast. Already windy in Decatur.
Barrett
The local news even mentioned the wind today. Always a good sign. Heading to Vanns for 10:00ish. Planning to shim my stabilizer a little more to get my new foil a little twitchier. Hoping for a bit more glide. My new foil was relatively fast, but so stable it took a little fun out of the ride.

Planning to be foiling both days this gusty weekend - still debating between Allatoona and Lanier?
I wingfoiled at Lanier today (Tidwell). There was plenty of wind in the morning. I'll probably go to Galts tomorrow.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
I guess Gene and Barrett got a little wind earlier but by noon it was pretty much done for the day.
I got a few rides after learning the hard way that It’s darn near impossible to get on foil with your stabilizer cover on.
I am going to check the forecast early am.
If there is wind I am going back to Vanns. (9am ish)
Rich & I are also shooting for 9:00am. See you over there….Vanns Tavern. At 6:30am it’s 9k, pretty good sign. Probably stepping up to my warmest wetsuit this morning.
Neil
I plan to sail at Van Pugh this morning if it blows.
How was it over at Vanns yesterday?

Any live wind reports?
Looking a little questionable…
Ok, 1.30, not a lot of wind at VP, maybe 10 mph.
I foiled on 6.7 for an hour, it was ok. I'm still hanging at VP rigged and waiting. Any minute now.

Vanns was awesome between 9:30 -11:00. It faded a bit when Langdon arrived….thanks Langdon…but seem to pick back up again.
Early on it was gusting to about 17/18k. But on cue, started getting holes toward lunch. I think you got to be the early worm on an East to catch the stronger pattern.
Neil
Foiled with 7m.
Had a good time.
Good turnout
Lester Ross posted a bunch of pics on FB. I'll copy them here tonight

Gene was wrapping up at VP when Chrises V (8.5) and P (5.7) arrived for the late shift at 3-ish. ~70% air time for me.
Worth the drive

Hi Hamdi
Let us know how you made out. Did the East Wind Fade occur again around 11:00am? Looks like the red dots stopped around 10:00ish.
