Downwinder Athens Park to Vanns (1/22)

Anyone interested in a downwinder on tomorrow's easterly wind? Windguru is calling for 18 mph almost all day. It's usually best in the morning. If the rain holds out sometime around 10am or so from Athen's Park down to Vann's. ... Biggrin

Emilio,

It was a pleasure getting to demo the GK Sonic 14 today!!!

I'm now sold on the bow kites really making a difference on the lake sailing scene. The ability to just keep sheeting out to dump power is essential for holding down enought kite to get you through the subsequent lulls. Now if I just had a little larger board to keep me planning a bit longer....

It's great to have a kiteboard shop in town. The ability to demo a kite that I've read great things about with less than a 5 hour drive is fantastic! You have my support.

Thanks again,
Mel

My pleasure and LocusWind rejoyces on your comments MEL.

Hopefully by this year end, I will get to see my vision of Lanier being sailed on regular basis by Kitesurfers (either new people getting to the sport or Windsurfers that will embrace kitesurfing as well, extending time on the water and stoke!...)

I will be posting on a separate tread my own comments about the bow kites and Lanier's Wind combination.

To all of you that though of going....may be not going...that you missed a good sailing day/ good conditions yesterday. I invite all of you who may be proficient already on going up wind to come by next time and try the new bow kites designs that we carry on stock.

Happy sailing

Emilio.
