Does anyone know of any windsurfing going on in or around Denver for the above dates. I am going out to ride dirt bikes and wouldn't mind hitting a lake too if I could get gear. I mean who sailes in the Rockies anyway
Lots of places to sail (if you have a good wetsuit - possibly drysuit) ;D - Cherry Creek Reservoir, Soda Creek Lake; Pueblo Reservoir (a couple of hours drive away but great scenery & sailing); and Green Mtn. Reservoir (about an hour out of Denver by Dillon). Check with the local sail shop (if it's still there) in Denver. Colorado is where Pat first learned to sail (and the first time I got on a board - in a leg cast & crutches) as we pushed off thru the ice covered banks - ok - we were young then). Call Pat if you want more info about the area - I'm sure it has changed a lot!
