Conditions today - sun 9/1

For today's conditions, which do you guys think would be better to sail from - VP or VT? I plan to be at one of those by mid morning.

Last week, I found vanns tavern to have better wind. But there is no consensus here.
Usually whatever is closer to you
A lot of times Tidwell will actually be best but it's not as nice a launch so it's really not clear. I would not recommend Tidwell at all today as there is no beach to launch from, only the boat ramp.

Not a leaf moving here in Decatur, so I’m waiting for wind before heading to Lake.

Almost an Almost live update from Van Pugh -

9.40 am Sunday - cars backed up at the Van Pugh pay station, probably 10 in front of me and 5 behind me, probably some 10:00 am church service. I u-turned it so I'm not sure of parking or wind.

I think I'm going to pass on today..

Vanns report. The usual suspects foiled. I had a good time up about 70-80% of the time.
Langdon, Hamdi, Rogier and Ed were in attendance.
Special Guests: Pat P who sailed up from van Pugh and Steve C. from Seneca who drove down to show off his spiffy NP Glide foil
