Yes, I know. I'm going to hell... Louise made that all too clear after my "Interview with God" in the Weakly World Windsurfing News April 1 edition.

Perhaps you should attend the Church that I frequent: https://www.sisterlouisaschurch.com/

At least there'll be somebody in hell that I know. Actually, I think we'll both see a lot of people we know.

I'll see if I can dig up that issue and scan it. Oh, and I'll be in the congregation tomorrow morning. I think Simon is coming along.

Just saw the latest forecast - it looks like it's going off. May have to get out the small gear.

I'll be getting repeatedly baptized at Vanns.
I'm glad the water is still warm

I will be doing charitable work for the betterment of our society. Plus I have a sore back. Hopefully there will be wind left on Monday.

I plan on sailing at Van Pugh unless there's a consensus that Vann's is the better launch.

VP is fine once you get past the shadow in the middle. It does make it hard to make long runs, though. Simon and I are headed to Vann's as I have to pick up his gear from the lake house which is near by. Langdon is coming there, too. I think it's a prettier launch but there aren't as many spaces if it's a good fishing day.

Either launch gets you out in the channel.

Re: Church of the Aquatic Ascension

It was a very nice service today at the Church of the Aquatic Ascension, Vanns Tavern Division.
I felt the spirit and ascended to new heights (Thanks to Father Fragakis' sermon and the Foil Altar).
Looking forward to the next service!

Who brought the Start? Now that I am 90%* divested in windsurf boards, maybe I should Start over....

*Lost count but I think I had 10 when started my divestiture and now only have one.

Re: Church of the Aquatic Ascension

Brothers and Sisters,
We had a fine turn out at the Vann's congregation of CAA. Tim and Teresa, Langdon, Chris P, Mauricio, Shred Dog, Simon, Admiral Steve, Dave Delozier (of our sister church, St. Danglus of Paros) joined me in fellowship of the wind. Visiting clergy, CV, of our sister congregation across the lake came by for a few words of elevation. Rhett phoned in to see if it was worth coming in late but the fat lady in choir had already sung by then - especially since he just returned from a mission trip to Charleston SC where he was sailing and foiling a 4.something yesterday.

We enjoyed the gifts of heaven in the 12-18 range early which then backed off to 10-15 with lulls. We all gave thanks for the blue sky; and warm water and wind. Special mention goes to Teresa for climbing the early part of the learning curve, Brother S. Dog for his early elevations and Jr. for spending time on the water with Pops.

We keep the people of Texas in our thoughts.

Footnote: the Start belongs to this guy who began sailing it at 8. He's now finished his Masters at Ga State and working. Biggrin Good to get out on the water with him.

Looking good for today, I hope to be at Van Pugh around 9.00 AM.

I think I'm going to try to go but I'm more sore than normal from yesterday for some reason.
