Very Wagnerian, Vrandy. When did you get the boat? Looks like you were making good progress across the wind. Are you able to go upwind? Does it work better with Valkyries?

I got the boat from a guy in Sarasota last May. Upwind - does seem to be a function of type of kite and courage. I find that foils work better than my home brew buggy engines (such as the one used in this.) The buggy engines might work if I had the courage to try harder - you get a lot of sideways loads and it seems like I might have an OBE (out of boat experience.)
Downhauler - I was trying slide forward because the I ended up on the tail end of the boat. Fortunately, I managed to slide forward only enough to fall into the seat.
