Peggy & I are in Erie, PA visiting my Dad. Having driven from Nags Head, I have all my gear, but the first week there was no wind. Today there was too much wind!
What crazy weather! Overnight the temperature dropped from 83 to 48F as storms swept through the area. I joined the local windsurfers at Presque Isle to take advantage of the wind. They all advised me to rig the smallest sail I had - a 4.2 meter. Away from shore I was way overpowered sailing on the Bay - and the wind was picking up.
Here are a couple of photos. When I left, the four remaining windsurfers rigged down to 3.5m or less.
