Back from OBX - No Wind Blues

We're back from 3 fabulous weeks in Nags Head. Conditions were excellent. Thanks to all our guests for making this such a fun trip. We sailed 19 out of 21 days and needed the two days off to rest. My most used sail size was 6.0 meters, with two 4.7m days and one 8.5 meter day. Once in a while we get weeds in Nags Head, but this spring I never had to use a weed fin.

Returning home, the grass is a foot high, and see the summer doldrums have set in. There's not even a dot to hang my hopes on. The no-wind blues have set in.

We're planning our next trip and have the house rented for two weeks Oct. 6 - 20. Hope you can join us then.

"For the second time this month, we have an area of disturbed weather in the Atlantic that threatens to bring an early start to the Atlantic hurricane season--which officially begins on June 1."

This might be appropriate.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
