Ok, the water is frozen, but in my mind this still counts as a winter water activity. We were in Highlands, NC on Thanksgiving Day. The next day we stopped at Scaly Mtn. on the way home. This was the site of a ski area before climate change brought an end to the snow. Now it's a tube run. They've adapted by making artificial snow at night when the temp. on the mountain is below freezing.

I'm holding the camera with my daughter in the tube in front. It was a fun time together.
