America the Beautiful Pass

FYI-I need to renew my annual Corp of Engineers (COE) pass, but instead of just the $40 COE pass I'm opting for the $80 America the Beautiful (ATB) pass. This also get me access to Kennesaw Mountain who recently started charging access fees.

Passes appear to be available at Allatoona and Lanier COE project offices and the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. You can also get the on-line here or here

Another option for those age 62+ is the lifetime senior pass.

"An America the Beautiful pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at areas managed by the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A pass covers entrance and standard amenity fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas (or up to four adults at sites that charge per person). Children age 15 or under are admitted free."
