AA - The Speed Project

Video is in French but gist is that they are going to examine his record setting 2015 gear from Nambia to see if there's room for improvement

"they're saying that they'll 3d scan all the gears that Antoine used to get records in Namibia and find a way to eliminate turbulence and drag. Antoine said that when he got the record for the mile in South of France, it was hard as his back leg is on fire and it's at sea instead of a closed water body"

There's a thread on seabreeze right now involving that. Gist is since modern sails don't have separate batten pockets - the pockets are made by overlapping the panels - it's not as big a deal compared to other aspects of the sail, e.g. camber rotation. Top of NP sails are more aligned though.
