9/23 Monday afternoon maybe

The Chick-Fil-A flag in Oakwood says that there is the possibility of some light wind foiling this afternoon.

I'm taking the Laser to Old Fed, around 2.30-3. If it does blow, I'll may try to Foil.

I think Alan S is messing with his sail boat around Old Fed this afternoon also.

If the heat does not kill the wind I will try and be at Old Fed around 4 or 5.
Gotta practice and give the Red 7.7 at least a little competition.

Alan says there were white caps. Then there weren't. Welcome to the ATL

At 2:53 3-17 winds reported. Crazy I was too busy watching Brad Pitt save the earth from Tommy Lee Jones on Neptune. Spoiler alert. He did.

We sailed for a bit then anchored off to do some bottom scrubbing. Water temp is perfect right now. Swam over to Old Federal and hung out with David, Gene and got to see Langdon's nice new Sailworks flyer. Ended up eating way too much at Stevie Bs with Gene, David and Josh then spent a nice cool night on the boat. Great way to start retirement.

Tuesday afternoon worked a bit. Went up to pretend to do work in Gainesville. Stopped at Van Pugh and took a wild shot at it. Got about a dozen decent flights. Not bad on a day I didn't see a single white cap. However, pumping aplenty was involved. Wacko

Thank you for confirming I probably would have failed to ever get off the ground...er...water. Yes 3
