44th Fall Classic

The official details for our race and get together Oct 15-16. All levels invited and it's fun to come even if you aren't competing.

This is the longest continuous running event in the US and second in the world behind Engadinwind in Switzerland. Help us keep the tradition going!

Edit: Charter boards will be available if you don't have suitable gear for classic SE racing. More info here: https://windsportatlanta.com/content/charters-fall-classic-92122

Re: 44th Fall Classic

Another fantastic Fall Classic weekend! I'm always hoping for more wind, but we had enough for 3 interesting longboard races. Thanks to Zhik, Sandy Point/Aerotech/Epic Gear and North Beach Windsurfing for their generous support. Ditto to the crew from Shell Point who brought Friday's supper and were super helpful all weekend. Special thanks to Debi Baber for taking the lead on KP and for lending her awesomeness to the proceedings. Having the Windsurfer LT charters there was a brilliant idea– thanks to Webguy for the inspiration and to Cody Steward from Aerotech for making it happen. We had 6 racers in both the LT and Open classes, and 3 in Sport. There was an equal number of groupies and hangers-on who came to enjoy the perfect fall weather, food, libations and oldster styled debauchery (mostly puzzles, foosball and football on TV).
