Re: Friday

Dawn patrol reporting for duty at Vanns, 8am.
Nice breeze, some white caps- 6.4 should be plenty. A better sailor could make 5.2 work but hey, we can’t all be Gene’s , try as we might ?
Ready for dual sport action today and hopefully catch a 2:30 mtg - couple hours each if I hustle ?

...And the colors match, so my wife would approve.

How was the wind direction at Vanns? Was there a wind shadow along shore?

It was good at Van Pugh, but the steadiest wind was out in the channel, until 11:30AM when we got lulls.

Who’s going tomorrow?
Seeing lots of wind and a few kites & windsurfers here in de Nederlands. (20-30 mph headwind is sub-optimal for biking, fyi. Liking our e-bikes though). Also, lots of derelict boards laying around… and many less derelict boats. I took these photos at 10:15p. Sunrise at 5-something! Shok

Nice photo. Love that board tied to the dock! With such strong headwinds, I hope you get a day off to windsurf. Glad you're liking the e-Bikes.

I am glad that the significant effort I put in being color coordinated is not lost on everyone ?.

Wind was very strong during the time I sailed - too
much for 6.4 but with my stubbornness and being extra short on time, I stuck with it for 15miies and then headed to dirt biking. Shadow - some but with the strength of it, I was on foil pretty quickly and kept coming close to shore while sailing.
