Rhett & I are planning to sail at Van Pugh later this afternoon.

Update: change of plans, now joining windsurfers at Lake Lanier Sailing Club.

Re: Sunday 16th

Ed, I hope you got out. We should have posted the code here.

It wasn’t exactly the epic spring day I was hoping for. But those that endured the big changes in wind speed scored some good rides, especially foilers Langdon, Rhett and Haizar. Howard, Randy, Barrett and I finned. Gene hemmed and hawed on sail size for a few hours then gave up and went home. Turns out you could have rigged anything and it’d been perfect… for a while. Cool looking stratus undulatus clouds gave way later to sun and blue skies.

The rising lake level has put lots of debris in the water, some of it pretty big. Be careful out there!
