First, Old 41 is not open until April 1, so aside from sneaking in, it is off the table for tomorrow. I have sailed there about a dozen times in 20 some years, all but one time were before foiling. It's pretty much a light wind place or S, SW, WSW and W. Most everytime I sailed there is was with a really big board and big sails. You can have good days there, but it's pretty unpredictable, mainly because winds from those directions tend to be the worst anyway and the fetch is fairly short too. It's probably an ok place for your biggest gear, when you don't have time to get to Old Federal or don't have an invite the LLSC. Galts can be sailed on W - SW winds but again, not ideal and the more south in the direction the worse it is. Old 41 might work out pretty well for foiling sometime. I sailed there with William in 2019 and he was foiling most all the time, and I was learning and foiling some.

Another place that can very good on SW winds is Fields Landing which is a Cherokee County Park, off exist 16 on 575. It has a very long fetch and one of the few places well suited for SW direction. Sweetwater is also in that vicinity, but even further away. I don't know if Fields Landing is open now but it used to be open this time of year. I used to go there because it at the time I was in that area fairly frequently. All that said, it's a long drive for for most people and hard to find. Your COE pass is not good there, though there was usually no one there to take money.

Here is more info from the Wiki. There are also entries for some of the other places like Fields Landing, etc.

I’ve gotta be in the Acworth area later today, I was thinking to head to Lake Acworth (not the best spot I know..) but if there are any better spots on Allatoona, I’m all ears.

I think Galts would be better on SW than Acworth. I've only sailed Acworth on SE or NW. There is also a place called Proctor Landing pretty close to Lake Acworth which seems to favor SW direction and it opens up to decent sized area. I never sailed there but sailed to there from another launch that seems to no longer be around. Has a nice Sandy Beach but it is supposed to be open.

Great afternoon at Galts - extremely gusty at times 6M worked well for a 90mn warm session! Water level is up, but tons of branches drifting

An "epic day" according to Ron. Another day going off the beach. Wind a bit fresher and more side shore but lots of weed blew in. It would generally flush off but if some got on mid jibe it would be pesky to shake off.

Swell a bit bigger and it would jack up a bit over the outer bar making it a bit thrilling as I was always worried foiling over but never foiled out.

A pic that I couldn't uoad last night plus one of Ron giving Lisa a rowing lesson this morning

Had a great day on Lake Acworth. Sailed from Cauble Park. Wind was a bit gusty, but was consistently from the SW.

I sailed my Windsup and a 7.3. Winds were ~15 gusting to 25.

We must have crossed each other, I stopped by Cauble Park around 1.30pm to check it out, the flags were flying, but decided for Galts - might go there next Saturday if SW forecast hold

Looked like a great day Clayton. Did you launch from the sail boat launch? (Motor boats are not usually allowed there.)

The park is quite nice - even has a concession stand in the summer (or at least it used to.) Parking can be hard to find in the summer, but South Shore Park (really just a gravel parking lot) is on the south side of the lake if that happens. Great to see this launch is being rediscovered.

BTW - Old 41 is scheduled to be open next Saturday, April 1.

re: both cauble and south shore at lake acworth, check the fee schedule if you are not willing to pay $10. Free right now I think, but will start charging soon on weekends, then all week somewhat later.
