I'm wiped from the long drive but a glimpse of what my day was like. That's me drifting across the start towards the end. It was as light as it looks in the video. 6 maybe 8 mph tops. Got one decent race in where I foiled around the course and nailed my jibes but the rest of the day was frustrating. I had a great time overall though and will share more details later. Yes, the young Olympic track guys are that good. A complete other level beyond even good foilers. Interesting that about have of the participants are Jrs and women. Future looks good.

How much better is Noah than the average guy? I think he weighs around 190-200 and is 6+ ft tall. Last race of the day, he was the only one on foil at the start, flew through right on time, made the first jibe and was half way down the second reach when the race committee pulled the plug. Not a single other foiler was on foil or even getting close to it - this included Maverick P who is ranked 4th right now in the US IQFoil pool.

What a huge difference in speed from flying to slogging. Now we know why you missed a session at Lanier. Looks like big wind with T.S. Nichole on the way to Florida.
