Wed VP - a first for us

Sam, his friend, and I drift launched Sam on the kite at VP off a waverunner. It. was. challenging. We got the lines a little messed-up for the drift line pay-out. We recovered and he kited. FAIL - First Attempt In Learning - right? And not a FAIL: #1) Everyone was kept safe in the process. #2) "Dad" still learning to: worry less and be less short tempered - haha.

The payoff vid and some warm food on the way home - all smiles.

Let's go again Smile

Sorry you guys couldn't get there earlier. The breeze was fresher. Kite didn't look that big to my untrained eye. What size was it? Glad you got some rides in.

Thanks, yea, earlier would have been better, but I worked and then everything took so long to prep compared to winging alone. Smile

He was on a 12m, so really not small. And he was not on a big board. He's about 175 lbs, so not big.
