Indeed a nice day even while using my smaller board trying to benchmark some numbers on how it takes off now.
Barrett, Hamdi, Chris P and I foiled while Mike was on a fin. Chris V. foiled down from the LLSC for a fly-by. Most foils were on 8s, I think Chris P. was on a 6.8(?) and I was on a 5.4 which was really nice mid afternoon when it freshened to 12-18.
from the GPS - with the mods, my board would begin to plane around 7 mph and takeoff would occur around 10 mph. I could take off in what would appear to be around 11-12 mph of wind. I was using my 1100 cm2 AFS wing. Before the board mods, it would generally take a gust in the upper teens to take off so getting the board off the water so much sooner make a day like yesterday so much more accessible with small gear.
Looks good to me too. I plan to sail at VP if forecast holds up.

I finally was able to get back to the pictures (raid array failure). I have posted pics and videos from Aug 15th. Not a lot.
Robert's Onedrive
Did not do any fancy editing, so pretty much as is on the videos. Tried to clean up the pics.

Unexpected but lovely surprise! Hope you've been well. You ended up documenting my testing of a board tweak and it's much appreciated.
It was an unexpected thrill to get out on such an nice summer day & a bonus to have photo of the event. Thanks so much!
