Reggae Regatta, mon

June 11-12. Register here: https://www.regattanetwork.com/event/24654 I don't think the "Current Registrants" thing is working. I believe a few longboarders are planning to come plus Neil "Wingman" Woisard and if we get wind, watch for Langdon & webguy to jump on foils.
You don't need to be a US Sailing member- just leave that blank. There's a grill & picnic tables at the beach if you want to skip the dinner and do your own thing. Likewise, the drink ticket- just BYOB. Free camping at the beach/campground. This is an open event at LLSC so all are welcome to come hang out, spectate or sail from there without registering. I'll be stoking the Wind Altar! Good

Confused at first because I though the race was on a sat and sun. Biggrin

Registered and paid. Looks like Neil and I will be on the beach wishing we had longboards.

Wait... I HAVE a longboard. Lol

No sign up the day of the race. Get off you butts and sign up! Neil, Chris and I are in. Who else? Forecast for Saturday may either be wet or really good.

FML hard to remember a forecast crashing that bad in 72 hours.

For that much humidity, how much downhaul should I use? Wacko

For a guy like you on a day like this, I’d start with the recommendations on the sail and adjust from there Good

If the gate isn’t open, use #2839

Day 1 report. Nada, nothing. We hung out and talked. Tried to go out around 2 thinking the wind might pick up after a swing to the west but nothing. Still pleasant and great to hang with every one and significant others, family and friends who came by.

Chris, Neil, Channey, Steve, Eric plus Phil who cane by to say hey and Matt who wings and offered Neil a ride on his eFoil.

Hoping fir something better tomorrow

Nope. But we all got inspired and went out, (after they cancelled racing) for grins when it picked up to 3-5 mph. Impromptu SUP race too. ‘‘Twas fun just hanging out Good

Props to all who came and just chilled on the beach. It was a real positive attitude despite the conditions. It wasn't just light - the wind just wasn't there at all during the hours available to race. It could have been a real whine fest but we just chilled, chatted and enjoyed being on the water.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have been on the water but since that wasn't happening, I got to hang with my buds for the weekend. Ultimately, that's a good thing. Good
