Possible Light Wind Session Tomorrow Saturday 4/23

Two Forecasts show a little wind tomorrow around 1-3pm. I need about 7-9k, so anything around 10k would be fun. SE Direction? Vanns?
Hopefully WebGuy can weigh in and save me a trip if he’s not feeling it.

I suspect both boat traffic and parking lot crowds would be brutal.

I've been watching it, too. Not convinced but we are spending the weekend up in Gainesville so, paradoxically, I may have to do the family thing instead.

Vann's would be a better location for that direction and while not as crowded as Van Pugh, there will be traffic on the water tomorrow.

Edit: WeatherCat just dropped us some dots when I just looked.

How about the Dream Dome of Doom? Supposed to get up to ~ 80.

Would Galts be better? How is the fx there? How about expected crowds where you sail (parking or in the water)?

Crowds and boats galore as well. The boats will be smaller but as numerous. Getting parking near the launch will be hit or miss. Worse part is that some of the world's best grillers, it seems, go there. If you get off the water hungry, and get a whiff, you'll be running, not walking, to find food. Biggrin

I've sailed at Galts the past few weekends, and there wasn't a lot of boat traffic or crowds. However, the "weather" (that everybody else cares about) is better today. The weather we care about (wind), however, is showing a lot of South and a little east in it, so Galts is not a good launch. There is Victoria Landing aka Victoria Beach aka Victoria Boat Ramp may be pretty good for that wind directon, so long as it doesn't go due east and the forecast doesn't show that.

Another problem - the web page is not reporting for Gilmer and the LLSC web cam seems to be down. You can call Gilmer and the windtalker is on the job. Last report was 8 @ 150.

I flew late thus afternoon. Off the water about 75% of the time and a few foiling jibes. Roland was on the water, too. He's camping at old fed.
Met Matt at the llsc who was efoiling. He also wings a bit.
Traffic not bad in our bay but some swell was rolling in from the channel
