Wed Mar 2

I've been eyeing Wed and it looks like WeatherCat has just blessed us with a dot or two. Chance for a light air session at Van Pugh. Hopefully, a high of 70 isn't too warm to ward off the wind.

Translation for those new here: Forecast for Wednesday has improved for a 10-15 westerly which is a good direction for Van Pugh. The air, hopefully, will be cool enough not to skip over a cooler boundary level at the lake surface.

WeatherCat hit the catnip early today and tripped some dots. Hope it holds up.

(Forecast has improved for tomorrow)

WeatherCat has lost his mind. Throwing out dots the next few days. Stay tuned and keep those schedules flexible.

Blowing SW about 6-8 mph at LLSC at 1:15. Looks very light past X mark in the channel.
Longboard 9.5 is my plan

Was next to Lee Gilmer a few minutes ago .
Planes departing on 23 AND 5 so whatever wind there is does not matter enough for choosing a runway.
Flags was moving but had sag.

Re: Wed Mar 2

Around 3-3:30, the wind got strong enough to kick the cold air out of the way and let the wind blow through. Lots of 8-20 and a short bout of low-mid 20s before things started to wind down for the evening. Alan, Barret, Chris V (Equipe) and I were out.

Barrett measured the water at 52. And, Chris, Mr. OG Foildood, is still freakin' fast on a longboard.

Gene and Chris P. foiled at Old Fed, while I windsurfed.
