Hey all. I'm planning to buy a foil sail. I've been looking in various places for comments and comparisons from people who have tried both the Sailworks Flyer and the Severne Foil Glide or Foil Glide 2. I heard through the grapevine that someone who sails at Lake Lanier has tried both.
If that's true, and you're reading this, I'd appreciate any thoughts that you want to share.

Severne FG2 is better
(Comparing the Sailworks Flyer 8.2m to a Severne FG2 7m)

Thanks, Langdon! I appreciate it.
I maynot be the best person to ask.
The Flyer I bought was Sailworks first generation of windfoil sails .( 2018 design bought 9/2019)
There was some issues. Phil and Bruce were helpful in solving most of these issues.
There has been many significant improvements in windfoil gear over the last couple years. I am sure that the 2022 Flyers are better than the 2019 Flyers.
Whichever sail you choose I think you will more satisfied if you buy the matching mast in the long run. It's not that other masts will not work, it's they will not work as well.
I learned the hard way on this...
