For those with less flexible schedules (ie can't make most weekdays), here's your chance.
Moderate temps - low risk of dome effect yet you'll still know you have fingers and toes. Water is still bitey, though.

Not sure I can make today but the forecast for tomorrow has been upped a touch. Should be good for foilers and shortboarders, too.
Bring your toys, usual bat time, usual bat channel
.Planning on going today to VP or OF. Would love to go a bit earlier than usual, say 11AM, 12M.
I'm aiming to arrive at Van Pugh by 1:30PM.

12:45 VP live - lots of white caps, sunny but definitely a bite in the air. I think a 4.7 for me but likely not a long session even with my layering
Traffic backed up on 985
What a great day! Sure, cold but thankfully my layering exceeded my expectations and I was able to keep going over 2 hrs straight, over 90% on foil, covering almost 25miles. In the end, came out to have something left in the tank for tomorrow.
looking forward to Mr. B’s pics.

Photos Haizar & Hamdi from this afternoon's session. I windsurfed a 120L board with a 7.0m sail and was on a plane 95% of the time & was never overpowered, thanks to surprisingly steady wind from the NW.

Pretty good day.
Most of the time there was wind, Sometimes there wasn't. Sometimes it blew from over here then it would blow from over there.
William saved the day for me as I have forgotten my harness at home and he was very kind to let me use his while he was rigging. And I think he took it slow rigging to give me more of a run. Thank you again William!
After about 45min of using William’s harness with my 7.6 sail, I tried one lap (up near the island and back) without a harness and quickly developed a renewed awe and respect for those who sail/foil without a harness! Especially once on the foil, I could not hang on and sheet in more than 20-30 seconds it seemed. I know, what a wimp with no arm strength whatsoever!
Meanwhile, down at VP...
Hamdi took first shift. Molasses me, Eric and Barrett took second. Eric took out the 115 fuse on his Starboard foil and made some pretty big progress today with Barrett's help. Sail sizes 6.5 to 7.6. We were pretty lit for most of the afternoon.

Friday was a big day for winging. So much that I rode about 2 hours at two different places.
