NWS forecast shows dots (10-15 or better) all week with rain likely Thursday. Temps in the low to mid 50s. Water is still chilly though. Barrett measured 46 yesterday but the warmish breezes should help maybe bring it up a degree or two.

Weathercat strikes again. Today's dots disappeared but I'm still keeping an eye on conditions up north.
Maybe Wednesday early afternoon if I can escape work
Not just the dots, but all the wind readings have now vanished. Hopefully they will come back by the time they matter.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Any correlation to someone at G'ville airport tripping over the power cord to the wx station at 4pm yesterday?
Wind went offline after a 25 mph gusts Sunday.
headed to vanns tavern today. should be there around 2.
Edit: I now plan to sail early afternoon today (Wed) at Vanns.

I hope to kite at Vanns tomorrow. Hopefully rain doesn't come.
William did the wind held on into the afternoon today?
Hey Alejo,
It was kind of spotty in the afternoon. Rhett, Chris P and I were there. It would cycle every few minutes - not sure you would have flown in the lulls but maybe. The best wind however was on the other side of the islands over towards the LLSC. It did improve into the evening and was much steadier around sunset.
The forecast for tomorrow looks better although nowhere near as warm and sunny. I'm encouraged as the overcast should help the wind.
The Starboard 900 wing is pretty quick. Had a few spots over 20 despite the best wind being only 11-14 and my using a 6.7. It's certainly capable of more, not sure I am, though. I gain about a mph getting higher off the water which was easy today because it was super flat but on a rough day, not sure if I have the ... to go that fast.
Edit: Langdon has pointed out that West Point is looking to be south of the rain Thursday yet still get a good southerly breeze. That's a good direction there as the wind comes over the dam and it's easy to launch off the west side and get into clean air.
Wed after lunch at Vanns for a few of us. Of course, all welcome.
It turned out there were three of us, Rhett, William & me, all foiling. I could have windsurfed with a big sail, but chose to foil, first with my 6.7 Ezzy Sport, then my 6.0m Ezzy wave sail. The 6.0m was more controllable & fun untill the wind dropped after 5PM. We had a nice side-shore ESE breeze, temp. about 49F, and no rain. Thanks to William for the foiling tips.

Ooof, that helmet with the beanie underneath has a kook factor of 10. Probably should look in the mirror and adjust it.
Yeah, good day. Some surprisingly strong wind at times but also some pretty big holes as it got late. I was at times totally maxed out and the GPS also revealed about 10 minutes of bobbing around waiting for a gust late.
Barrett is getting close to making a jibe - gave the unsolicited advice (which he graciously accepted) because I was so impressed. Once he starts making those, we'll never get him off the water.
I was there from 11:15am to 12:30pm and the wind was pretty constant for Lanier and around 12-16 knots. Mornings seem to be better still for the easterlies.
Better for easterlies but hell on my extremities.
Glad you got out and had a good session! When I was in one of those holes yesterday, I was really hoping that the wind was more consistent for you - I felt bad that I may have been too optimistic. Did you have any partners in crime? Twin tip or foil?
