Weathercat just popped up a dot for mid-day Sunday. The NAM model seems to be the culprit. The Euro is hinting at it, too, but the GFS seems unimpressed. Something worth following. East so the usual east spots apply.
Iwindsurf seems to think its an all day affair, if you believe the gusts (which I usually don't). Keep your eyes on Windsday. Iwindsurf predicts a rare treat - 28 gusting to 28 at 10 am.

Now it seems more like mid-morning than mid day, at least that's Windfinder's view.
9 to 14 with warmer air works for me.
Your other pic from iwindsurf is the type of thing I think about when people ask if iwindsurf is a good app for Atlanta. Not even WeatherCat eats that much catnip.
I think the problem is that gust forecasting makes astrology look respectable (to steal a phrase.) It's odd, but suddenly the low 50's in the morning seems cold.
BTW - the guys with the 9-14 think it goes with 48 degrees. The guys who think its going to be in the 60's (NOAA) think there won't be any gusts.

Well, the only thing blowing at the lake today was my leaf blower.
First, Rogier and Alejo struck out kite foiling and then Barrett, Rhett, Eric and I followed with windfoils. We had a nice chat under the shelter while it drizzled and then gave up. At least the drive way is clear for a few hours.
Despite the fact that I was at MAP early (9-11 when winds were reported to be 13-22) it was the same story. I even struck out at Windskate - which is hard to do. 13 - 22 wasn't even right for kph, let alone mph......Classic case of believing the forecast I wanted to be right (Windfinder) rather than Weather Cat's Hourly NOAA model.....At least I stayed dry.

Gilmer reporting gusts into midteens. Leaving to go to Vann's Tavern in a bit.
