Thank you Alan. I am in great hiking shape but also probably heavier thanks to many amazing bakeries and chocolatiers within easy walking- all of which I was determined to sample taste until winners were clearly identified :).
Time to see if I remember this foiling thing and my board can carry my weight!

Wingers going early and getting all the good parking spots... jeez.
Chris, hoping to do the same today and the same thought was in my mind. One thing I did figure out with the last is take a pain killer today and it will ease the arm ache.
It was so good... (for some of us anyways )
Tony, Amber, Neil and Hamdi took the early shift (Wing, SUP, Wing and WindF, respectively).
Barrett, Rhett, Chris P, Langdon and I took second (all windfoil) and Richard G hit OF (wing).
It was so pleasant powered up in the channel with so little boat traffic. Lanier in the winter really is our little playground and so different from summer time. It makes the frosty toes absolutely worth it.
That was fun! Around 12:30-1:00 it was blowing pretty good right down the middle of the Lake. My early arrival didn’t work against me today, but Hamdi beat me to my normal parking spot!!
Let me know when we’re going again!!
I hope to go again Tuesday afternoon. Today was warm & so much fun with perfect foiling wind.
I tried shooting photos with my GoPro mounted on the boom. I accidentally set it on movie mode with the camera mounted at the end of the boom. This resulted in a long video that cropped off my head and the foil.
Next time I hope to take stills that have a wider angle. Here is a still photo with the camera mounted half way down the boom where I can reach it to turn it on and off, making it easy to use, but too close to show the foil.
Me!
Likely, too. Hope your wind meter looks like this. Pic taken last Monday when you couldn't make it.
Maybe a short session after lunch
I am a maybe as well, likely OF given south in the wind direction- plus I might very well need the onshore launch at this point.
Welcome back Hamdi.

Just Wingin' It
Getting a booster shot at 11:30 then hoping to head that way. Anybody have experience with when immune response kicks in?
Later in the evening when I got it. Lasted about a day - a bit stronger than the 2nd dose. Everyone is different though.
