Looks like Friday & Saturday may be shaping up. Rich Ganet & I are trying to figure some free time to hit it one or maybe both days if forecast holds up.
I am planning on going to Mary Alice Park ("MAP") around lunch time. Winds from the South direction are typically not all that reliable. That said, it's an easy place to sail (side shore, flat water) and close for me which is why I like it for south type winds. If the wind turns to SW if doesn't work, but Little Ridge is a short drive from MAP.

11Alive News actually talked about the Wind increasing on Saturday 10-15mph, with 20mph gusts. Always nice when the general news mentions it will be windy. Temps are suppose to drop but I guess that’s par for the course for the Fall season. Rich Ganet might want to Kite so we were thinking Old Fed on Saturday. But open to change. Hope to see you all.

Rich & I made an official plan. Meeting at 10:30am at Old Federal. Rich is planning on kiting and winging so he needs the set-up area at Old Fed. Hopefully we’ll see you down there!!
Models showing Sunday possible and Monday decent.
Friday afternoon (OF) and Saturday till arms go weak probably VP
I am planning to go Friday and will follow the windsurfing crowd. Mostly practicing fast taking and get my footwork down to muscle memory.
Anybody thinking of going today Thursday 11th?

At Vanns. Not much wind and clouds to the west don't look happy. I think I'll opt for yard work
Thanks Randy, and sorry I ended up not going as I decided to catch up all my work today so I have more time tomorrow at the lake.
Hope to see you tomorrow
You chose wisely. Not a lot of wind, and erratic direction. Tomorrows forecast has dropped a bit but still may work, just FYI.
