How to thread your extension

Most commonly, the sail pulleys and the extension pulleys are perpendicular to each other. Most beginners try to thread them in the traditional manner and end up with crossed lines, a sail pulley that wants to twist and have trouble getting enough downhaul tension.

The fix is easy - there's a method to do it that fixes all these problems but it's counterintuitive. Once you learn it, however, it's just as quick and easy to do (except I have a heck of a time doing it on the opposite side of the sail Lol )

There, of course, plenty of other explanations on how to do it but here's a 2 min video that you may find helpful

Same video twice in the same thread even!

Yeah, I repost stuff from the front right all the time because occasional visitors might have missed it.

What was wrong with the English in the first video? The French accent maybe … Scratch one-s head

ROFL

How anyone understood my French when I traveled in France is beyond me. The sins I committed upon the language - oof. I could understand clearly the first video because I've watched so many foiling videos and I can now understand the Goyard brothers, the guys at Phantom and AFS, etc.
