4.4 action

Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a great season so far. Here's a short video for your Friday enjoyment. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for the video. Actually, it's been a crap season so far but that's not unusual for Atlanta. We're just starting the windy season as we only get occasional wind in the summer. When it was good, it was really good but then it would be 2-3 weeks until the next session.

Nice moves. Is that your home spot?

I wish I could find a local spot that flat in 6.0 conditions.

Nice moves man!

Looks like a breakwater there which helps.

Yeah, even at OBX, when it's that windy, you get that short little chop that's a total PITA at most spots. Rodanthe on a NE was sweet back in the day, though. Maybe inside the jughandle bridge will be a good spot in the future.

We've had the pretty much the same thing over here. Calm, dry summer with not much going on, but as soon as fall hit it was just one low pressure system after another. Hope you get some good sessions in soon!

Thanks! Yep, but what you see in the video (locals call it Shitbay) is just a small part of the main spot (Fiskeback). It's pretty rare to get it as flat as in the video though. You need clean NW wind and a low low tide for the rocks to break the chop. Here's a picture:

Thanks man! It's pretty good when it's on, if you ever find yourself in Sweden you should definitely come rip a few laps with me!

There's actually a chance in the next couple of years... if not for me, definitely for my son. Be careful who you invite, they might actually end up at your door step. Lol
