I got her at 1pm now it's 230. Im camping site 53 facing Old Tavern and the weather is so nice. Don't know about parking in the park but it does not seem crowded.
So it been fairly 5-8 windy, but some of these gusts look like 12- 14 mph ish and last for a good little while. Might be worth a investigation this evening
Of course MY gears in my wife's SUV and she arrive close to dark ?

Old Tavern ?
Is that the island between Old Federal and Vans Tavern. Lol
Good weekend to camp, enjoy!

A few of us snuck out and scored a few runs. It was blowing 7-12 maybe and got some runs out of Van Pugh. It wasn't great but for a day when we were expecting nothing, getting something was pretty good.
I'm definitely out of practice on the big gear.

Webguy did not appear to be "out of practice".
I think he made it up to Margaritaville while I was having arguments with the 8.2 Flyer about sharing a 130L board.
I got in quite a few flights but struggled to point much higher than beam

No, from the campground site 53 I'm looking straight at it. See. Lol
I got my gear now (Sunday) it may be 6 10mph but I'm going in anyway.
So we have good just now 12-14
It was blowing a bit down in the ATL around lunch time but when I looked at the LLSC web cam it was glass so I headed for the Silver Comet for some necessary mileage. Saw that the wind did pick up up there later on but fortunately for me, stayed light on the Comet (it would have been a head wind uphill on the way out).
Did you get a chance to get out?
Current pressure map, made by a sadistic forecaster. Surely one H would suffice.
