Wednesday racing always starts at X. Upwind might be to A or B (toward Vanns) then maybe E near Aqualand. Hate missing a cold front there but forecast here at SGI is strong too
The forecast looks good for strong NW wind later this afternoon at Van Pugh, so I plan to drive up anticipating that the rain will end with frontal passage.
I started out Windfoiling (or was it Windfailing?) on the last day of Summer, but ended up sailing WindSup on the first day of Fall. My shorty was enough for Summer, but started to wish I had worn my wetsuit after Fall rolled around.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Dang it blew mid-afternoon. I was getting shelled on a 4.7. Crash-o-rama. I think I invented new ways to fall off and perfected a few standards such as foiling out going way fast. That one ended up with me getting rug burn on my arm from my rash guard.
Wow, big day up there! I got out briefly on a fin and couldn’t quite get planing but being surrounded by 2 dozen curious dolphins, often within a foot of me, made it worth it. Front is through here, SGI, so hoping for a session today
wow, indeed! looks like y'all had a great one! fantastic pics. Thanks for posting ~
(and I"m trying to read the fine print on Barret's sail. Is that a 5.2???)
6.0. Al and Dmitri were on mid 5s on fins, too (not sure what Chris P rigged but I think similar). Foilers were on 4.2s to 4.7s. I should have been on a 4.0-2 but suffered on a 4.7.
Really starting to like the Hydra pro. It was manageable for the most part yesterday but being blown dry with 20mph wind after a bunch of swims wasn’t.
Got chill?
I did.
Hope y’all have another good day Thursday. I’d rather be there but committed to Dragon Boat practice.
I will try to get second shift
I’ll be keelboat racing (C&C 99) on wed evening, should be a wild ride.
Have fun out there!
On a NW, where's the race course likely to be? Might be fun to do a few fly-bys.

I hope that we have a good turnout today, looks like it's going to be fun
I’m at VP now. Suns peaking out.
Radar shows rain clearing in about 30 mins
It’s already blowing W with some NW gust.

Lots of crashes for me as well.
Glad to see so many came out today and glad the water was warm
Photos posted from today's epic session. There was no shortage of wind. Thanks to Johnny for taking the pics of me.
