Some of the others look like that too, but I never believe the gust forecasts of unless the average number is at least 10. Anyway, the Euro model shows wind looking better over at Galts.
I guess I'm not a glass is half full guy. I'm more of a glass is paper that leaks cup guy.....

The old now you see them, now you don't magic. Still some for Galts. (Pro tip Gene - do a screen shot when you see dots to prove later you weren't making them up.)

So far, Gilmer is reporting the same or better than McCollum (Galts). But, there just doesn't seem to be much energy even further west. Euro and NAM more optimistic for this afternoon by a little bit. GFS, less so.
Well, at least I completed the plumbing project today that I ham-fisted yesterday. The day hasn't been a total waste.
Van Pugh almost live report - 11:10, straight East wind, Max Gust 9.8 MPH, a lot of 6 to 8 mph, almost raining, plenty of parking, kind of cool but I guess the water is still real warm. I'm still thinking about it. If anybody goes, give me a call, 404-735-4944 and I may join you.
Al said he went out in the evening and winged with 6.0 at Tidwell for over an hour. I went there earlier in the day and windfailed with 7.0. At that time the wind looked better than it was. Best wind was when it was raining.

been looking, too. maybe some east action?
If the wind comes through, pack a shorty. It'll be nippy for the first time since May.
It's interesting. I'm not seeing anything on 5 forecasts I looked at.

Euro looks good over Galts tomorrow. At this point, I'm so desperate I'd almost sail a W at Galts. Almost.
How about an east?

Rhett rang me up a bit ago. Said he went late yesterday - 5ish - and scored a good hour and a half.
Oh well. Sorry that I missed it but glad I didn't go that late as I'd have missed some family thing that I had forgotten was yesterday evening.
Pic from FB LL sailing group - yesterday evening.
