Enough of this 6 mph summer. Travel Plans

This summer has been definitely lack luster even for Lanier.

I need to pick up some gear in St. Pete in about 6 or 7 weeks. ( Hopefully a 4-5 day trip)

I would like to go to Tarpon Springs / Dunedin while I do not have to wear neoprene. Maybe mid - late October?

I also want to keep my tradition of going to Tarpon Springs around the MLK weekend for a Winter Trip for a 4-5 days (2022)

*Watching for windy weekends for a 2 day trip to Tybee

keep in mind, the Fall Classic is Oct 23-24. Worth staying around for that if you can even if you aren't a racer.

I will be in Clearwater week of Dec 19 (19-24). Anyone around there then?

Other than that, I have 1 to 2 trips a month planned for the next 11 months (yes, I am a planner:)) to various state parks in GA, FL, SC, NC, TN- most on/near a lake or beach. Too many to list here but I can share if anyone is interested. These are mostly ‘work remotely’ trips for me - namely I am not playing most of the day but, if there is great wind, I could call a vacation day or two.

I would be up for exploring other wind sport trips if it didn’t conflict with already planned trips (and other work/family responsibilities) and I can find a camping location for my trailer - so feel free to keep me posted if interested in company. Fall classic does conflict with a trip to the Smoky National park.

Lisa and I plan to be in Tarpon Springs for 2 weeks around Labor Day, the week before and the week of. If you're in the area, give me a call 404-735-4944. As always, subject to change.
