what the title says. Maybe a chance to sneak out and catch a bit of SW breeze next couple of days between the rain but Friday afternoon looks solid.
Somebody get Weather Cat some 'nip and let's hope it comes through.

I sailed from our camp site at VP South yesterday around 3 for an hour. Decent rides (7.6, large wing) for ~60% of the time.
Then it got calmer and my wife & I decided to go for kayak outing #2 for the day. Headed towards VP north. Right past the VP north beach, clouds turned dark, we turned around and hit massive swells around our typical launch ramp. After sheltering there for 10min, decided to keep going and made it back without getting dumped but with a lot of water in the kayaks.
Today seems promising already - currently 7.6 would work- and I kept my sail gear rigged - ready to go as soon as meetings are over. Kayak pic from yesterday am - choppier this am.

Just in case Hartwell looks more appealing to any of you folks tomorrow (Friday)....I do aim to be there. Launch points would likely be Green Pond or Singing Pines. If anyone has any interest, feel free to hit me up ... I'd obviously enjoy the company. I'll otherwise surely be enjoying the afternoon with a few sailboats and motor boats . Have some good, safe fun wherever you go!

FYI, white caps are starting to be observed here at VP South. I might have to re-rig after all as this might be more like a 5.7 wind at this point - good problem to have I guess ?
Watching the weather Friday morning. Fx has changed a couple times in the last six hours. I may go as early as 10am just depends on what I see outside the shop door. Still showing SW.

Pretty good breeze here already
Some white caps now, will need to rig a smaller sail
