Who knew being a senior citizen could be so fun. Videos

Post your videos of old guys doing the wind thing here.

Something special to me about having a empty nest, and still being able to take full advantage of the wind sports
.
Robbie Naish Jaws and more... January 2021, 58 making it all look easy.

Mad respect for this guy - 72 and charges as hard as anyone.

This lady was 81 at the time of this video, 2019

Quote:
Anastasia Gerolymatou is a 81 year old Yiayia (grandmother)in Greece that bakes bread, gathers olives and is a windsurfer! She has entered the Guinness Book of World Records by sailing from Skala Kefallonias to Kyllini today Saturday, August 24, on a windsurfing board, covering a distance of 18 miles and sending a strong message to all young people: “Never give up on your dreams.”

You're on the funnest part of the learning curve. Something big happens every session. Hatteras will be REALLY big!

Howard, another way to look at it is that a year from now, you'll be glad you are windsurfing now. Good The learning curve bit really resonates. I used to keep a journal back when starting out because each day was so different. Went through the same thing with foiling and Chris is correct. I'd get the stomach butterflies seeing whitecaps that hardly got a reaction from me a year before. I still get them even after almost four years at this.
