I hope to sail again tomorrow, assuming I don’t have a reaction to the Covid shot (just got #2). Likely 11ish. With east wind, Vanns would be my preference.
You’ll beat me there - I am still thinking but might be delayed. Feeling ok I think but slightly fuzzy in the head, like very mild under the weather feeling. Anyways, hope to be there at some point
Many thanks to Barrett for taking this pic and video. It was a little challenge to stay close enough to each other as we were both overpowered during that run but managed with little hiccup.
In the video, William is the 3rd foiler in the distance.
Oh, it was pretty gusty at times. I wouldn't doubt some of those numbers. New (to me) AirRide 7.7 worked out well flattened out with adjustable outhaul and plenty of downhaul. I just used the 20+ gusts to climb way upwind. I didn't launch until just after noon and it seemed the kite bros had another killer session in the morning.
The bliss part comes from, even in the lulls, I was motoring along nicely. The AirRide actually seems to have a touch less punch at the bottom end but better glide on the foil.

Early AM kites followed Hamdi's advice and rigged small. It was a great session! Will head ti Vann's early AM again tomorrow.

Apparently I’m missing out. Will have to join you tomorrow.
Looks Vanns is the place. Plan to arrive about 10:30Am.

Another sweet day. 7.7 on the foil. Bliss.
