I am on the fence - I need to leave the lake by noon and that would mean starting air temps around 40F, which sounds ok for Jan -Feb but for a late March sailing? Will sleep on it and post in the am if I warm up to the idea ?
I am guessing that the forecasters have missed by 5 degrees.
If I am wrong I will sit on the shore and throw things at the geese until it warms up
Be careful with your aim of those stones- i don’t want to try to duck stones in addition to everything else I am worrying about out there ?
I expect to be on the water 9:30 thru 11.
8:30 Vanns live - white caps, sunny, feels warmer than forecast. I suspect Langdon won’t have to hunt rocks, I shouldn’t have to worry about ducking rocks, and by noon Ed will likely sail in a bathing suit ?
Live report at 10:15.
Lots of Whitecaps.
Wind is not solid though. Large patches of gusts moving across the lake.
Hamdi, Roiger and myself are here.
Hamdi is flying with something other than the 4. 7m. Maybe the 3.7m.
Roiger is putting up a 9m kite

I guess ~10:30 Vanns for me
I hope everyone has looked at the temps tomorrow morning. I'm going to opt for an afterlunch special - the one where I can feel my fingers and toes.

Every club needs at least one manly man - apparently we found ours! ?

The forecasters have been off almost every single day on temps for several weeks now.
They are having trouble even 12 hrs out.
I might get to Vanns by 10.
