Possible it could be done at Galts given proper alignment of the stars, wind and water levels. This was a couple of years ago, late October. A lot space that might be shallow enough for a skim board. Somebody needs to find a 12 year old kid next time this happens.

I'm pretty sure the beach park is closed now at Galts until March. Once March rolls around the water rises pretty quickly, but seems like there would a window of opportunity, and I have 4 and a 5 meter wings, so I'll keep my eyes on it. According to the historical data from the COE, the day in that picture the water was 834.7 if I am interpreting the water data correctly. So If you are up for it and have a 16 year old to volunteer*, we may be able to do it in March. That seems like a typical water level for March.
* Kids that age are pretty indestructible - right? Just ask them.......
