Re: Do over Wednesday

Dang - today was a bit chilly even though some dots showed up. I've got some work that needs to get done.

Then I see it's 50 degrees down in LaGrange (West Point) Too late to go today. Sad

ETA now 12.30 or 1.00, trees just starting to move around. May be big sail day, but sure is a nice day, sun and warmth.

I'm still going just a little later.

Capping at old fed
Where is everybody?

Perfect 6.0 day, good wind and not real chilly. Wind was a little steadier on the north side of the islands.
Photo is tracks of most of the day.

If you sail upwind all the way to Vann's Tavern, don't be surprised if you are by your lonesome. Biggrin

I hate Gene. First dunking in two or three sessions trying to jibe around and catch him. But thanks for the pedal clips, sir. Good

Dave, Howard, Hamdi, Alan, Gene and me. Super day - mid 50s 8-18ish. SW so it was easy to get up to the main channel in a few tacks. Took a couple of rides up to Aqualand and then sleigh ride home.

Missed Tony. Too warm? Lol

William blew his jibe turning around to come help me try to figure out how to jibe......so he showed me how to Not make a jibe which I already knew how to do.

Fun day but I stayed on the water and in the water too long.

Agreed, one of the best days at Lanier- definitely for Dec (granted my experience is not long- only 3rd Dec in sailing, 2nd in foiling).

I had very similar stats (max not shown in the picture but it was 18.0).

Edit: in full disclosure, I was sailing with a 6.4 sail - which might explain very slight edge on speed and distance Wink
