Clever idea to keep your track nuts in place
When I first started foiling I was told to move my mast foot all the way back and I was always worried it would slide out the back. I put a piece of rubber tubing in the track which worked quite well. Cork seems like would be just as good.
One day I didn't tighten the nut enough and the mast foot moved - forward. I found that I could move the mast foot just about anywhere w/o impairing my foiling mediocrity further, so I went back to my two bolt mechanical U joint. Two bolt is far easier to connect in the water if (like me) you are not strong enough to carry the everything all connected up at one time.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
When they get older it’s a bit harder to keep them in place.

Yeah, I thought this was about something different, too. Trying to figure out how I was supposed to take these off my truck and stuff them into the board. That's a real "hold my beer" windsurfing moment.
