I plan to sail at Vanns tomorrow mid morning. The forecast looks outstanding. Please post if you can go.
If forecast holds AND nothing crazy comes up at work, I plan to go but earliest ETA for me would be 11:30-12.
That would be 5 days of sailing in the last 7 days for me - here's to hoping that's a good sign for fall 2020!
I’m in SGI
It’s honkin’ here and no dots. 20-25 today but off shore so no go .... might check out the bay
What-where is SGI? For future reference and my general education...so much to learn, so little retention capability (namely, sorry if I have asked this before or was told it is already). ?

Nice
Other than my inability to jibe my short board it was a perfect 6.0 day at VT for me, chop was even lined up in a good direction.
Barrett, Gene, David, Chris P, Hamdi and a few kiters came out to play too.

Perfect day for me too windsurfing with a short board & 6.0m sail. Warm enough for a shorty.

Rigging & launching
Hamdi preparing his foil board
Alan heading in & Hamdi heading out as wind dropped a notch
Peggy enjoying action at Vanns
Barrett - never too old to windsurf

St George Island is 5-6 hrs from Atlanta. Annual family trip.
Check out the wiki “Places to sail”. Very good resource!
Nearby Cape San Blas is a very cool spot- like Florida before people.

Where do you stay? I have been eyeing the state park at SGI for next year (when we get our RV trailer) but it looks like getting a reservstion there is very difficult if not seemingly impossible - apparently a very popular place.
