Re: Fingers crossed for less rain & more wind Friday
Some forecasts are showing chance of wind (edit - enough to windfoil on big sails) starting tomorrow (Tues) afternoon thru the rest of the week! Wind, When?
Re: Fingers crossed for less rain & more wind Friday
This week sounds good. Thanks to everyone for help on equipment and advice over the past few months, I appreciate it. It has been great meeting you all, and of course this web site has inspired me also. I hope to see you out there this week!

Re: Fingers crossed for less rain & more wind Friday
Since no one has posted a preference on the launch yet for tomorrow
Remember VP crowd. I know we are all anxious to get back on and above the water.
But the cement ramp may be extremely slippery.
So before you go galloping into the water whoever gets there first take a brush and scrub that spot.
If y'all are preferring OF post before lunch on Thursday otherwise I hope to be at VP around 3:30

Pretty good at old federal. 7.3 foiling 90% of the time on the first session.Light rain killed it for about 30 mins but it picked back up again for a decent second session. Gene anI foiled, Howard windsurfed and Roland was winging it, his new wing was lifting him pretty easily.

Better late than never I guess.
In the future If you come in to the old federal day park bear to the left after you go through the gate we usually park in the first few parking spaces.
Saw Rolland and his new wings as we were packing up

Hoping I see a few people this morning at VP. I am thinking around 10:00am arrival and be ready to catch the 11:00 am wind bus. Envious about you guys getting some air time yesterday. I had some family plans but intend to pull an all-day attempt today. Did someone pull off the "free lunch" Jibe???

Saturday may have potential ahead of an incoming front.
Hartwell may be an option for both days. I know it's another hour but it's been almost three weeks...

My preference. I'll mind the ramp this time.
I'll probably go to old fed.

We may have gained 3 more windsurfers

Going to Old Federal around 10 this morning.
Yesterday l was fun at VP but the wind line was a long way out.
I'll join Langdon at Old Fed, not sure what time as I'm moving kind of slow this morning. Yesterday was fun at Old Fed but wore me out.

Debi and I will be at LLSC after noon. Join us if you want!
Gate #1922 (need the # symbol first). I recommend you bring a chair.
Best foiling day at VP for me until wind dropped. Glad I came in and de-rigged before T- shower.
