Air being sucked into the big line of storms that just rolled through N. GA. Got the same thing in N. ATL. If I lived closer to the lake I might take a swing at it but there's too much stuff rumbling to the west of us to justify driving an hour and finding that a cloud popped up and beat me there.
If you felt like you missed anything, I checked the LLSC cam before the rain blew through at the lake and it was calm.
If anyone is, indeed, tempted. Check radar regularly and keep an eye on the SW/W horizon. Everything is moving pretty quickly today so factor that in, too.
I tried it on the Exocet, the other day, with a fin not foil. Posted a short vid on the Div 2 thread (William was asking what I had been up do.) It was ok, but I Ihink it would take a lot of wind, and so far it is more fun on a SUP (which I've enjoyed a lot). I'm not optimistic a wing will work on a windfoil board so I'll probably still with sails for a while on the Exocet.

I've seen more than a few wings on windfoil boards on FB.
I'm waiting for you to show how it's done. If you can't do it, I'm not even going to try. OTOH - if you can do it, and then I can do it, I'm going to get rid of all my sails and go for a bigger wing.

There’s a bunch of storms north of there. Can you wing in that lake?
Alan
Can I? ... YES i can.
Will they arrest me for doing so? Maybe
rgenet
Probably would be gusty swirly wind there anyway.
Alan
You know, if I was at all competent at winging, I think i could get away with that.
Thanks for the insight William
Hey the 2nd time I ever windsurfed it was on a small local reservoir... not recommended but doable.
Alan
It was at my nearby, but Socially Distant WingSUP launch. Fun while it lasted. This also counts as my Friday music.

Nice Randy, I am considering buying a wing for my inflatable SUP and maybe for future wingfoiling since Neil and Roland make it look like So much fun.
What brand and size wing is that?
Have you tried that wing on your Exocet wind foil board?
Alan
