I asked this question on the Facebook group page, but thought I would go ahead and ask here. As of today, all Corp run parks, boat ramps, and even the parking lots are closed on Clark’s Hill lake, effectively closing all the launch spots. Are you guys at Lanier still open?
Some of our guys were there this morning so maybe they will fill us in. This map shows a lot of places closed though not all, and high water is the cause listed.
The COE Facebook page for Lake Lanier doesn't seem to have any updates since March 20, on closings. They do show this as a possible hazard at one the parks (2 Mile).
I was at OF yesterday and today. Aside from bathrooms being closed, you could not tell anything extra ordinary is going on - people picnicking, swimming, playing volleyball, kitesurfing, windsurfing, fishing. Saw police driving thru, no reaction to people and vice versa.
Update: forgot the all important- people apparently playing the flute as well...though that's second hand knowledge for me, wasn't fortunate enough to witness...as usual, I have not chosen (where to launch) wisely ?. When in doubt, follow webguy!
‘Twas a luvly day. Slogging gave me chance to fully admire the amazing William, fantastical altostratus undulatus clouds ... and I got a few good rides too.
BTW - I just found out that Clark's is under control of the Savannah office of the COE, while Lanier and Toona are run by Mobile office, so that may be why there are different policies in place.

Seeing how little wind there was when I arrived at Van Pugh, I almost headed home. It was wonderfully warm, but you need wind to windsurf. Ed arrived, and with nothing better to do we talked about the lack of wind, life's problems, and then the wind came up. Despite nary a whitecap, my 8.5m sail & JP light wind board got me on a near-constant plane for the next 40 min. Happiness restored, I drove home on empty roads.
At Old Fed it was like Barrett said, except, while he and Ed were talking, I was wearing my self out slogging around and then pumping to get a few flights, Then when ti did come up for that 40 minutes at the end, I did get some rides but I was exhausted.
Headed up. Gonna try to get a spot before the non-distancers show up.
Van Pugh live report. 8-11 clearing skies and one guy playing flute
Update: breeze picking up. Guy still playing flute
Some white caps at OF ...but no flute! Tough call, take your pick. ?
Still no flute here; with breeze picking up at VP, clearly no contest!

Flute guy seemed pretty nice. Had he known more than four notes, that would have been a plus...
Rhett got bored waiting for the wind to fill in and took to a tree stump like a terrier going after a chipmunk.
Saw a pontoon boat where the concept of social distancing seemed a bit lost in translation.
Very good day. Apologies to Chris V who asked me what size to rig during the 15 min that I came in thinking I would go back out on a 5.4.

Be smart and stay safe! I love you guys.
