Tillo Freewave/Carve wing. 1500cm2 of low speed lusciousness. I even managed a foiling jibe without a whitecap in sight (gust of maybe 9-10). This should make summer a bit more fun.
Short answer, No....
Clouds overhead were scooting along but the wind at lake level was pretty low. ~5 g10
Webguy got a fair amount of flight time. I had four decent flights, the rest stopped flying when I quit pumping.
Webguy was flying pretty slow sometimes but he was still flying
I would have gone for one of the free wings, either the carve or the wave would have been fine....
I'll put your name down. All you have to do is attend a short two hour seminar about an exciting vacation opportunity where you can spend two weeks a year at any of our fantastic resorts.
Alan, kinda felt like a pretty big dome effect going on. We decided to wait and see if the breeze would come up as it cooled down in late afternoon. It did. Sort of. Water is still pretty bitey - we were reminded when after sweating for 90 minutes pumping, we had to swim our gear in. Kind of reminds me of Randy's MN sauna/snow. Personally, the cold water did not fill me with any sense of joy or elation. When it warms up in June, that's my happy place.
The bad part about the wing is that it's quiet. I can hear Langdon slinging invectives at me from at least 100 yds.
Slinging invectives? Your lucky I did not have tomatoes to sling.
Especially on that one pass where there was almost no wind and I am just bobbing and you glide by
Langdon, your new name should be Energizer Bunny or better yet, Gene's famous name calling of, You're an Animal.
PeelSkid
I’m leaning toward going. I’ll post tomorrow morning

You need to try foiling so you too can have the cravings of an addict
Langdon and I will be there between 2-3 if anyone wants to join. Subject to weather changes but nice and breezy from SW at moment.
Got a new wing to test today.
Do tell.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
And test it he did...

Did I make the wrong call?
